Annesley Colliery, Nottinghamshire
Merriman has continued to work with Ashfield District Council, negotiating a strong case for changing the use of the southern half of the 3.15ha site from employment to residential.
Outline planning permission for 124 homes was granted for the southern half of the site in November 2011 and the land will be remediated ready for construction from the second half of 2012. Read more >>
Jack Hardy Close, Syston
Merriman owned land from a previous development in Syston then secured a Design & Build contract with East Midlands Housing Association to build 11 affordable homes on the site to Code for Sustainable Homes standards. Merriman Build are currently underway with the construction. Read more >>
Broughton Astley, Leicestershire
This site was initially hampered by a flood plain issue whereby a large portion of the site was potentially affected by possible flooding should a 100-year storm happen. Merriman had to work closely with the Environment Agency and our consultants to resolve the issue to provide a more suitable area for development. Read more >>

Hawthorne Avenue, Long Eaton
Merriman acquired the 4.15 acre site from a textile company who operated out of the whole site but wanted to reduce the scale of their operation. Merriman were faced with providing suitable premises for the textile company within the site whilst attempting to obtain consent on the remainder of the site for residential redevelopment.
