Merriman Limited recently completed development on our most recent project, a nine property development of three & four bedroom houses in Asfordby, Leicestershire. Merriman Limited acted as the sole developer, overseeing the whole project from site clearance to completion. The houses are being sold by Connells Estate Agents, Melton Mowbray Branch. Charnwood Edge, Cossington |

Merriman Limited recently relocated to Charnwood Edge Business Park at Syston Road, Cossington, a site that we own. We developed and built our new head office and workshops ourselves, which were completed in the summer of 2006. The photograph to the right shows a hybrid of the original concept sketch combined with the offices as they look today. The plan below it shows the original design of the site . |

The site for the buildings is 2.7 hectares in size and will house 4000m2 of workshops, 1000m2 of two storey offices and a 500m2 training centre, all tailored to suit our current operations. There will be spaces for around 90 vehicles. The buildings will be of a modern design utilising materials sympathetic to a rural setting. It will involve a comprehensive landscaping strategy which will greatly improve the visual aspect of the site. |

This 2,000 sq metre site, previously used as a five a side football pitch, has been transformed into a new four bedroom luxury dwelling, with access from The Ridings. Merriman Limited oversaw all aspects of the building process. The house features a unique curved design and ultra modern interior. The photographs below illustrate this contemporary style. Building work on the house started in August of 2003 and was completed in September 2004. Twenty Six the Ridings was sold in early 2005 |
Melton Road, Syston |

This development project involved us renovating an old terrace house situated on Melton Road, Syston. The house had fallen into disrepair and has needed extensive structural strengthening and modernising. The interior of the house was completely gutted as evident in the pictures. The picture to the right shows the restructuring work being done to the outside of the house, from the main road.
It has been redecorated to a high standard and looks and feels like a completely new house. The house has three bedrooms and is very generous in size. The exterior of the house and the garden has been enhanced to provide an attractive appearance. The renovation of the house is now complete and it is now being rented. The picture to the left shows the house after being completely stripped and ready for renovating. |
