Northgate Vehicle Hire – Refurbishment at Unit 3, Cossington

Prior to occupying Unit 3, Northgate needed various changes made to the unit which had previously been a large open plan workshop and warehouse space.

Merriman Limited worked as the Principal Contractor to deliver a light and airy office and reception area converting one of the old workshop bays, removing the large roller shutter door and creating a new frontage, interal walls and false ceiling, toilets and kitchen.

The new branch features a range of services to help the growing fleet size in the area, particularly amongst businesses operating in the construction, retail and wholesale industries, and will eventually house up to 1,700 vehicles. Northgate is also rolling out workshop facilities at the new site, which will be serviced by three qualified technicians.

Merriman receives CHAS accreditation

Merriman has  received a certificate of accreditation from CHAS, the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme.  This demonstrates the company’s compliance with health & safety legislation and sound management in regulating ongoing work.
